Recap: Fort Bragg Timberwolves vs. St. Helena Saints
The Fort Bragg Timberwolves waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat St. Helena 55-24 on the road. That's another feather in the cap for Fort Bragg, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Italia Bowles was a one-man wrecking crew for Fort Bragg as she scored 24 points. Another player making a difference was Avery Epperson, who scored 13 points.
Fort Bragg's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-12. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.7 points per game. As for St. Helena, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-18.
Fort Bragg will be playing at home against the Knights at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Kelseyville and the Timberwolves are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. As for St. Helena, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against the Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on January 31st. Novato is coming into the matchup on a six-game losing streak.
