Sierra Vista waltzed into their contest on Thursday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They blew past the Nogales Nobles 60-30. With that victory, the Dons brought their scoring average up to 50.2 points per game.

Leading Sierra Vista to victory were Cailei Buna and Zaira Eulloque. Buna almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine assists, while Eulloque almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine boards. Eulloque has been hot recently, having also posted three or more steals the last four times she's played. Kristine Lozano was another key player, putting up six points in addition to 11 rebounds and three blocks.

Sierra Vista has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.4 points per game. As for Nogales, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-13.
