Basketball Recap: Shawnee Takes a Loss

Shawnee lost against Choctaw back in January of 2020 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Shawnee Wolves received a blow as they fell 65-46 to the Choctaw Yellowjackets. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Shawnee's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Choctaw, their win bumped their record up to 11-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shawnee will take on Booker T. Washington at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Booker T. Washington knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten matchups -- so hopefully Shawnee likes a good challenge. As for Choctaw, they will square off against Edmond Santa Fe at 7:30 a.m. on Friday.
