Softball Recap: Cass County Central Gets the Win

Cass County Central had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They had just enough and edged out the Centennial Broncos 6-5. That's more bragging rights for the Crush, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Centennial has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.

Cass County Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Centennial, they will challenge Polk County at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Broncos' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Slammers have averaged an impressive 7.2 runs per game this season.
