Football Recap: Stafford Comes Up Short at Home Against Reno County Homeschool + How To Watch

Stafford unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a blow against the Reno County HomeSchool Sabres on Friday, falling 68-22. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 52-26 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Dylan Brozek threw for 87 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Jace Kreutzer was his top target, picking up 77 receiving yards and two TDs.

Stafford didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 56-26 victory against Pretty Prairie on the 12th. As for Reno County HomeSchool, they have also already played their next contest, a 60-24 win against Norwich on the 12th.
