With a playoff win on the line, Lowell rose to the challenge on Saturday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Lincoln Mustangs a 3-0 shutout. Winning may never get old, but the Cardinals sure are getting used to it with their 13th in a row.

Lowell's win bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Lincoln, they moved to 13-6 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Lowell didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-1 victory against Hamilton on the 4th. Lincoln does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
