Soccer Recap: Ridgeline Takes Down Mountain View in a Playoff Battle

Ridgeline had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Their defense stepped up to hand the Mountain View Bruins a 3-0 shutout on Thursday. Considering Ridgeline have won 11 matches by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Mountain View with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Keagan Grange, Sam Brown, and Lily Hunsaker.

The victory (which was Ridgeline's third in a row) raised their record to 16-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. As for Mountain View, they moved to 15-4 with that loss, which also ended their ten-match winning streak.

Looking ahead, Ridgeline will take on Park City at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. Mountain View does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
