Football Recap: Wapsie Valley Piles Up the Points Against North Cedar

Wapsie Valley put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the North Cedar Knights, posting a 61-7 win. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Warriors' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Iowa football rankings (they are ranked 67th, while the Knights are ranked 260th).

Wapsie Valley's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for North Cedar, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Wapsie Valley is set to face off against their familiar foe Midland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, North Cedar will take on rival East Buchanan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
