Soccer Recap: Lee County Takes a Loss

Lee County fought the good fight in their overtime game against Veterans on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Veterans Warhawks. The defeat continues a trend for the Trojans in their meetings with the Warhawks: they've now lost five in a row.

Having lost for the first time this season, Lee County fell to 6-1. As for Veterans, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Lee County didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Coffee on the 11th. As for Veterans, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Northside on the 11th.
