Basketball Game Preview: Swett Warriors vs. Hercules Titans

Swett and Hercules are an even 4-4 against one another since January of 2015, but not for long. The Swett Warriors are taking a road trip to challenge the Hercules Titans at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Swett is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

On Wednesday, Swett ended up a good deal behind Skyline and lost 52-34.

Meanwhile, Hercules was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 47-41 to Albany. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1152nd, while the Cougars are ranked 552nd).

Swett now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Hercules, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-7.

Everything came up roses for Swett against Hercules in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, as the squad secured a 57-24 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Swett since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
