Soccer Recap: University Prep Value Takes a Loss

Saturday just wasn't the day for University Prep Value's offense. They came up short against the Paramount Pirates on Saturday, falling 13-0. While losing is never fun, Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 839th, while the Pirates are ranked 204th).

University Prep Value's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Paramount, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-3.

University Prep Value will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Neuwirth Leadership Academy at 2:00 p.m. on January 7th. As for Paramount, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 1-0 win against Verdugo Hills on the 28th.
