Basketball Recap: Towanda Comes Up Short

After flying high against Mansfield two weeks ago, Towanda came back down to earth. The Towanda Black Knights were beaten by the Loyalsock Township Lancers 52-20 on Tuesday. The Black Knights haven't had much luck with the Lancers recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Towanda's loss dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Loyalsock Township, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 17 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-2 record this season.

Towanda does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Loyalsock Township, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 52-49 win against Hughesville on the 28th.
