Soccer Recap: Oak Park Takes a Loss

Oak Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 6-1 to the Newbury Park Panthers. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Oak Park's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Newbury Park, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Oak Park and Moorpark will compete for holiday cheer at 5:30 p.m. on December 20th. As for Newbury Park, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Camarillo on the 16th.
