Basketball Game Preview: Knight Hawks vs. Lancaster Eagles

On Thursday, Knight came up short against Quartz Hill and fell 51-44. While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 639th, while the Royals are ranked 302nd).

Meanwhile, Lancaster put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 82-23 victory over Littlerock. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 24 points or more this season.

Lancaster's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-0. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.3 points per game. As for Knight, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Knight came up short against Lancaster in their previous meeting back in January, falling 49-44. Can Knight avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
