Softball Game Preview: Callaway Cavaliers vs. LaGrange Grangers

Callaway is 1-9 against LaGrange since August of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Cavaliers will venture away from home to face off against the Grangers at 6:00 p.m. Neither Callaway nor LaGrange posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Callaway fell victim to Morgan County and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 10-0 to the Bulldogs.

Meanwhile, LaGrange also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against Central on Friday, falling 15-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Grangers have suffered against the Lions since October 1, 2019.

Callaway's loss dropped their record down to 8-16. As for LaGrange, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-9.

Callaway might still be hurting after the 7-0 loss they got from LaGrange in their previous matchup back in August. Can the Cavaliers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
