She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs.

Morse kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They are 7-1 when they post 11 or more hits.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask San Diego). Their pitcher stepped up to hand Crawford a 20-0 shutout on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Cavers in their matchups with the Colts: they've now won five in a row.

Madison McNamara and KeyonaMae Simmons did most of the damage at the plate: McNamara got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, four stolen bases, and four runs, while Simmons got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, three stolen bases, and four runs. Amanda Villarreal was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs.

Morse pushed their record up to 9-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for San Diego, their win bumped their record up to 8-12.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Wednesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Morse has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 5 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like San Diego struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.8 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.

Morse was able to grind out a solid victory over San Diego in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, winning 5-2. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cavers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
