Decatur waltzed into their game on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 6-5 W against the Woodward Academy War Eagles. This was a revenge game for the Bulldogs: when they faced off against the War Eagles on September 4th, they had to take a 5-3 loss.

Decatur's victory bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Woodward Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.

Decatur will head out to square off against Tri-Cities at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Woodward Academy, they will host Arabia Mountain at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Rams have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.53 runs per game on average), something the War Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of.
