Blue River came out on top against Wilber-Clatonia  on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run second inning. Blue River took their   matchup against Wilber-Clatonia   11-6. Blue River hasn't had any issues with Wilber-Clatonia recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive  win against them.
 Abby Lindsley spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned  (and three unearned) runs on ten hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks any time she's  pitched this season.
 At the plate,  Olivia Adams was  incredible,  going 3-for-5 with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and two  RBI. That's the most  stolen bases  she has posted since back in August.  Madi Klement also deserves some recognition as  she  snagged her first  stolen base of the season.
Blue River's victory bumped their record up to 13-5. As for Wilber-Clatonia, they dropped their record down to 9-9 with the  loss, which was their third straight  at home.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Blue River will face off against Centennial at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Blue River's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Broncos have averaged an impressive 7.1  runs per game this season. As for Wilber-Clatonia, they will take on Syracuse at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
