New Castle is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Chartiers Valley on Monday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. New Castle had to suffer through a 54-14 loss at the hands of Chartiers Valley. The Hurricanes were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-8.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when South Fayette took on Moon Area on Monday. South Fayette took their contest with ease, bagging a 51-24 win over Moon Area. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 matchups by 21 points or more this season.

South Fayette pushed their record up to 16-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 34 points. As for New Castle, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.

New Castle took a serious blow against South Fayette in their previous meeting on January 6th, falling 74-29. Can New Castle avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
