South River has gone a perfect 4-0 against Crofton recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Seahawks will challenge Crofton at 6:00 p.m. South River is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

South River's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Severn Run 44-0. The result was nothing new for the Seahawks, who have now won three matchups by 27 points or more so far this season.

South River's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Benjamin Raines, who threw for 114 yards and two touchdowns. Speaking of playmakers, who could forget Jaden McDuffie, who went all the way with a kickoff return for a touchdown.

Special teams also played a big role in the game for South River, adding 12 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of McDuffie, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Crofton hadn't done well against Chesapeake recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Crofton claimed a resounding 30-3 victory over Chesapeake. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as Crofton just coasted through the last quarter.

Crofton now has a winning record of 3-2. As for South River, their win bumped their record up to 5-0.

South River was able to grind out a solid victory over Crofton in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, winning 48-41. Do the Seahawks have another victory up their sleeve, or will Crofton turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
