Camden County got themselves on the board against Valdosta on Thursday, but Valdosta never followed suit. They put the hurt on Valdosta with a sharp 7-0 victory. Camden County might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by seven runs or more this season.

Camden County has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.4 runs over those games. As for Valdosta, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Camden County will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Lowndes at 5:00 p.m. on September 9. As for Valdosta, they will welcome Irwin County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
