Soccer Recap: DeKalb Comes Up Short

DeKalb's game on Tuesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They lost 4-1 to the Neuqua Valley Wildcats. DeKalb haven't had much luck with Neuqua Valley recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

DeKalb's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8-1. As for Neuqua Valley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-6-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. DeKalb will venture away from home to face off against Sterling at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. DeKalb will be up against Sterling's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.62 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Neuqua Valley, they will head out to take on St. Charles North at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
