Baseball Recap: Ellicott Comes Up Short

Ellicott was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 16-1 to the Manitou Springs Mustangs.

Ellicott's loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Manitou Springs, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-13.

Ellicott has already played their next matchup, a 17-1 defeat against Elizabeth on the 11th. As for Manitou Springs, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 7-3 loss against Mesa Ridge on the 12th.
