Platteview waltzed into their game on Monday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They were the clear victors by an 11-3 margin over the Malcolm Clippers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Trojans also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Paisley Peklo spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on seven hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Savanna Alloway was incredible, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI she has posted over her last six matches. Another player making a difference was Khloe Hartman, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Platteview kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are a perfect 9-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Platteview's victory bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Malcolm, they moved to 11-10 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Platteview has already played their next contest, a 6-5 win against North Bend Central on the 23rd. Malcolm has also already played their next game (against Nebraska City), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
