Basketball Recap: Clovis Takes a Loss

Clovis was the 53-45 winner over St. Mary when they last played one another back in November of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Cougars fell 56-49 to the Rams on Saturday.

St. Mary's got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Dylan Horton out in front who shot 63% from the field to rack up 10 points and eight rebounds. Mia Jamias was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Clovis' loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Clovis has already played their next game, a 64-49 victory against Archbishop Riordan on the 28th. As for St. Mary's, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 75-45 win against Buchanan on the 29th.
