Soccer Recap: Westover Takes a Loss

Westover was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Cairo Syrupmakers, falling 10-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Patriots of the 10-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Westover's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Cairo, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Westover is taking a road trip to challenge Bainbridge at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Bainbridge is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.8 goals per game this season. As for Cairo, they will look to defend their home pitch on March 11th against Monroe at 7:30 p.m.
