Baseball Game Preview: Ridgeview Ravens vs. Bend Lava Bears

For the second straight game, Ridgeview will face off against Bend. The Ravens will challenge the Lava Bears at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Ridgeview has won five straight at home, while Bend won six straight on the road), something that'll have to change.

While Ridgeview's win against Bend wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Ravens won by a run and slipped past the Lava Bears 3-2.

Ryden Nakamura made a splash no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over six innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up a single earned run in six consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one triple.

In other batting news, Ryker Combs was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April.

Ridgeview's victory bumped their record up to 16-8-1. As for Bend, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-7.
