Soccer Recap: Worth County Comes Up Short

After flying high against Irwin County last Tuesday, Worth County came back down to earth. The Worth County Rams lost 7-0 to the Thomasville Bulldogs on Friday. If the Rams were looking for revenge after losing 10-0 to them when the teams met back in March of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Worth County dropped their record down to 1-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Thomasville, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

When Worth County and Thomasville next hit the pitch, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Worth County will try to stop Sumter County's three-game winning streak when they meet at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Thomasville will face off against Colquitt County and their three-game winning streak at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
