Softball Recap: Crisp Academy Wins Going Away Against Trinity Christian

After only one run in their last match, Crisp Academy made sure to put some runs up on the board against Trinity Christian on Thursday. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Crusaders with a sharp 14-3 victory.

Crisp Academy got a big performance out of Ansley Simpson, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI. Those two doubles gave Simpson a new career-high. Marley Chalin was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

The win got Crisp Academy back to even at 1-1. As for Trinity Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crisp Academy will head out to square off against Pataula Charter Academy at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Trinity Christian, they will venture away from home to take on Thomas Jefferson Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
