Soccer Game Preview: Ridgeview vs. Bakersfield Christian

The Ridgeview Wolf Pack will square off against the Bakersfield Christian Eagles at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Ridgeview's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for seven straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Ridgeview's offense. They lost 5-0 to Highland on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Wolf Pack can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 524th, while the Scots are ranked 187th).

Meanwhile, Bakersfield Christian entered their matchup against Garces Memorial on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Bakersfield Christian came up short against Garces Memorial, falling 5-0. The contest was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly the Eagles struggled afterwards.

Ridgeview now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Bakersfield Christian, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-5-2.
