Softball Recap: Jarrell Comes Up Short

Jarrell lost to Gatesville back in March of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Cougars came up short against the Hornets, falling 9-2.

ABIGAIL G BERRIOS was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.

Jarrell dropped their record down to 0-2 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Jarrell will challenge Crockett at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Gatesville, they will face off against Lampasas at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
