Soccer Game Preview: Roosevelt vs. Millikan

The Roosevelt Mustangs will be taking part in a tournament against the Millikan Rams at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Roosevelt is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.2 goals per game this season.

Roosevelt gave up the first goal on Thursday, but they didn't let that get them down. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Yorba Linda, sneaking past 2-1.

Ireland Churchill was the driving force of Roosevelt's attack as she scored both of Roosevelt's goals, bringing her season total up to 13 goals.

Meanwhile, Millikan kept a clean sheet against Cabrillo on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Jaguars as they made off with a 5-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rams.

Roosevelt's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Millikan, they now have a winning record of 2-1-1.
