Basketball Recap: Fall River Comes Up Short

Fall River lost against West Valley back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The game between the Fall River Bulldogs and the West Valley Eagles didn't end well, with the Fall River Bulldogs falling 66-48. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Fall River still got an impressive performance from Reese Cassity, who posted 22 points and five steals. Another player making a difference was Mylah Darnell, who had 11 points in addition to seven assists and five boards.

Even though they lost, Fall River smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive boards in three consecutive matches.

Fall River now has a losing record at 2-3. As for West Valley, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Fall River wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 47-37 loss against Enterprise on the 14th. As for West Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 49-27 defeat against Del Norte on the 14th.
