Council Rock South had already won 13 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.6 points) and they went ahead and made it 14 on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 62-36 margin over the Lower Moreland Lions. Given the Golden Hawks' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 37th, while the Lions are ranked 136th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Council Rock South pushed their record up to 16-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points per game. As for Lower Moreland, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-8.
