Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Troup County). They were the clear victors by a 19-4 margin over the Sandy Creek Patriots on Wednesday. The Tigers have beaten the Patriots the last nine times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Patriots has come to flipping the script.

Troup County pushed their record up to 19-6 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.6 runs over those games. As for Sandy Creek, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-18-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Troup County beat the Patriots by a score of 10-2 on Thursday.
