Softball Recap: Jenks Snaps Five-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Jenks barely beat Muskogee the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Trojans never let the Roughers get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory on Tuesday. Considering the Trojans have won eight games by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Jenks' win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-12. As for Muskogee, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-18 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jenks will welcome Grove at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Muskogee, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Stigler at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so the Roughers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
