Soccer Game Preview: Olympian vs. Steele Canyon

The Olympian Eagles will take on the Steele Canyon Cougars in a tournament on Wednesday. Olympian's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Olympian duked it out withScripps Ranch on Monday. Olympian and Scripps Ranch finished up their contest with a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked the Eagles' first draw of the season.

Their goal came courtesy of Sari Murphy, who's now up to three this season.

Meanwhile, Steele Canyon kept a clean sheet against Francis Parker on Monday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Lancers. That's two games straight that the Cougars have won by exactly two goals.

The victory made it two in a row for Steele Canyon and bumps their season record up to 2-0-1. With that draw, Olympian's record moves to 4-2-1.
