Softball Recap: Clear Lake Gets the Win

After only two runs in their last contest, Clear Lake made sure to put some runs up on the board against Coppell on Thursday. The Falcons came out on top against the Cowboys by a score of 10-5. Considering the Falcons' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Clear Lake's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Coppell, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Clear Lake will face off against Bellaire at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Coppell, they will be taking part in a tournament against Plano at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday.
