Soccer Recap: Riverdale's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

Riverdale came into Tuesday's game having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Sierra Chieftains by a score of 6-4 on Tuesday. The Cowboys' offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last four games.

They hit Sierra with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jackelyn Hernandez (2), Alexandra Diaz (2), Aliezah Arambula, and Viviana Zarate.

Riverdale's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 7-10-2. As for Sierra, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.

Riverdale is taking a road trip to take on Parlier at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Sierra has already played their next match (against Caruthers), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
