Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Stewartville). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Simley Spartans 41-7. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Tigers with their most commanding win of the season.

The victory made it two in a row for Stewartville and bumps their season record up to 4-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 7 points in those games. As for Simley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

Coming up, Stewartville will take on Faribault at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will be up against the Falcons' rather soft defense (which has allowed 47.4 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Simley, they will challenge North at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
