The Dominion Christian Knights will venture away from home to take on the Loganville Christian Academy Lions at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The last three games Dominion Christian has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
Last Wednesday, Dominion Christian had just enough and edged out The Weber School 6-4.

Skye Jackson and Gabe Buckner made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Jackson struck out six batters over three innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits (and not a single walk). Meanwhile, Buckner tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. At bat, Jackson went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double, while Buckner scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Buckner has been hot recently, having also posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Canaan Bowen, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. Broughton Kelly also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Loganville Christian Academy faced off against Peachtree Academy on Friday. Loganville Christian Academy was the clear victors by a 16-1 margin over Peachtree Academy. The win continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won three in a row.
Loganville Christian Academy let Marshall Myers and Brooks Baldwin run wild. Myers scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1, while Baldwin scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Brody Hahn, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.
Dominion Christian's victory was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Loganville Christian Academy, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
Everything went Dominion Christian's way against Loganville Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in April of 2018, as Dominion Christian made off with an 8-2 victory.
