Baseball Game Preview: Ravenswood Red Devils vs. Williamstown Yellowjackets

Ravenswood is 0-10 against Williamstown since April of 2019 but things could change on Tuesday. The Red Devils will venture away from home to square off against the Yellowjackets at 5:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Saturday, Ravenswood came up short against Ripley and fell 7-2.

Oak Glen hit Williamstown with a four-run first inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Yellowjackets fell just short of the Golden Bears by a score of 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Yellowjackets have suffered since April 13th.

Williamstown's defeat dropped their record down to 18-12. As for Ravenswood, their loss dropped their record down to 9-15.

Ravenswood might still be hurting after the 10-0 defeat they got from Williamstown in their previous matchup back in May of 2025. Can the Red Devils avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
