Archbishop Carroll waltzed into their contest on Sunday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 60-57 win over Friends' Central. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Patriots have posted since December 15, 2024.

Archbishop Carroll got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kayla Eberz out in front who posted 30 points. Eberz continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexis Eberz, who put up 19 points.

Archbishop Carroll now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Friends' Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-7.

Archbishop Carroll and Friends' Central should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings. Archbishop Carroll (ranked 53rd) will meet St. Hubert Catholic for Girls (ranked 260th) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Friends' Central (ranked 27th) will meet Abington Friends (ranked 635th) at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
