Soccer Recap: Fellowship Christian Comes Up Short

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Fellowship Christian and Whitefield Academy meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Thursday. The Fellowship Christian Paladins lost 7-0 to the Whitefield Academy WolfPack. The loss was the Paladins' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Fellowship Christian fell to 2-1. As for Whitefield Academy, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fellowship Christian will venture away from home to square off against Wesleyan at 7:00 p.m. on March 6th. Whitefield Academy will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Hebron Christian at 7:30 p.m. on March 11th.
