Soccer Recap: Calamus-Wheatland Finishes Even with Assumption

Calamus-Wheatland had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They and the Assumption Knights finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw on Thursday. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time Calamus-Wheatland have been dealt a draw since back in April.

Calamus-Wheatland's draw gives them a new season record of 4-9-2. As for Assumption, they moved theirs to 6-6-8.

Coming up, Calamus-Wheatland will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Western Dubuque. Calamus-Wheatland will be up against Western Dubuque's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.82 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. Assumption does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
