Recap: Santa Paula Cardinals vs. Simi Valley Pioneers        
        
		
             Even though the Santa Paula Cardinals have not done well against the Simi Valley Pioneers recently (they were 0-6 in their previous six matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way  on Monday. Santa Paula took down Simi Valley 54-37. The  win made it back-to-back wins for Santa Paula.
 Santa Paula was led to victory by  Aryanna Lopez and  Miahnna Galvan.  Lopez  scored 20 points along with 5  rebounds, while  Galvan  scored 13 points along with 8  steals and 5  assists.  Alyse Ramirez was another key contributor,  scoring 9 points along with 3  steals.
 Santa Paula's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Simi Valley, they now  have a losing record at 1-2.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Santa Paula will  take on Santa Clara at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. Santa Clara comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 24 points in their last three games, a trend the  squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Simi Valley, they will head out on the road to face off against West Ranch at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
