Football Game Preview: Chandler Lions vs. Central Braves + How To Watch

The Chandler Lions are taking a road trip to take on the Central Braves at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Central took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Chandler, who comes in off a win.

If Chandler beats Central with 52 points on Friday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two matchups with that exact score. The Lions claimed a resounding 52-6 win over Westville. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Lions' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma football rankings (they are ranked 78th, while the Yellowjackets are ranked 232nd).

Meanwhile, Central played a tough contest on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against Metro Christian, falling 49-6. The defeat continues a trend for the Braves in their meetings with the Patriots: they've now lost three in a row.

The victory made it two in a row for Chandler and bumps their season record up to 4-3. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 12 points in those games. As for Central, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Everything came up roses for Chandler against Central in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 47-6 victory. In that game, the Lions amassed a halftime lead of 27-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
