Basketball Game Preview: Peninsula Panthers vs. Chadwick Dolphins

Peninsula has gone 3-0 against Chadwick recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Peninsula Panthers will square off against the Chadwick Dolphins at 3:00 p.m. Peninsula is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.

Last Tuesday, Peninsula was beaten by Redondo Union 62-35. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 439th, while the Sea Hawks are ranked 65th).

Meanwhile, Chadwick ended up a good deal behind Rio Hondo Prep on Thursday and lost 53-36. The Dolphins have struggled against the Kares recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Peninsula's record now sits at 7-11. As for Chadwick, their record is now 6-8.

Peninsula took their victory against Chadwick when the teams last played back in December of 2019 by a conclusive 58-36. Will Peninsula repeat their success, or does Chadwick have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
