Football Recap: Cuba Takes a Loss

Cuba fell victim to Espanola Valley and their airtight defense on Thursday. They were dealt a 67-0 loss at the hands of the Sundevils. The Rams lost against the Sundevils in their previous head to head back in August of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 42-7 score last time.

Cuba's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Espanola Valley, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cuba will take on Wingate at 7:00 p.m. on September 5. As for Espanola Valley, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will challenge Capital at 7:00 p.m. on September 5.
