Basketball Recap: Linden Lions vs. Riverbank Bruins
On Friday, the Linden Lions had to suffer through a 64-0 loss at the hands of the Riverbank Bruins. The game marked the first time this year in which the Lions were not able to get on the board.
Leading Riverbank to victory were Leilani Olanolan and Taylor Macias. Olanolan went 9 of 16 on her way to 21 points along with six steals and five boards, while Macias went 6 for 15 en route to 14 points in addition to seven steals and six assists. Olanolan is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least three every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Avah Luu, who posted four points in addition to six rebounds and three steals.
